Here is a fat and juicy fuzz that is sure to satisfy anyone’s appetite. The Terra Fuzz is another foray by Copilot fx into the realm of fuzz and it is one kick ass adventure! Adam usually makes some wonderful noisemakers and filters and ring mods and such, so I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was into this pedal. Right out of the gate, it has a smooth crunch with a good amount of low end while still retaining a good amount of clarity. Another thing I really like is that each turn of the gain provides you with a very controlled amount of thickness to your signal. Since it is super fuzzy even at its lowest settings, I feel that smaller amounts of gain are crucial in making this a very tamable and user friendly fuzz. The fuzz also responds extremely well to your picking and playing style and it really allows you to dial in the perfect fuzz tone. Not interested in a wall of fuzz you say? You would like a velcro/ starved battery type of fuzz tone? Then look no further….. crank back the Bias knob and boom, glitchy mosquito fuzz heaven. And the all important test….. the volume knob. The Terra cleans up extremely well with a few turns of the volume on your guitar….. just lovely! I am a huge fan of the effects Adam makes, so you should really check out some of the CoPilot fx line.

Ah Fuzzy, you are back and in top form! The best effects reviews on the net…..and the most pleasant to watch. Thank you. Great to know you have recovered with no obvious scars that I can see!

Bryan, we all feel your pain. But your suggestion would cause some damage to our collective claim of only watching FBG videos because of their technical excellence. Without a pin-up page, we can continue to convince wives and girlfriends, or both, that FBG is a media construct that we have to put up with in order to review latest gear information, and that we’d prefer that she wore more clothes in the video intros. It’s hard enough to explain why she insists on having a poster with a ‘Big Muff Pie’ strategically placed, in the background, while reviewing a ‘Super Hard on” pedal. Let’s keep this site our enjoyable little secret.
