So, you say you have a hankering for burritos…. and fuzz…. pedals?!?! Well, here you go! The Furry Burrito from Yellowcake is somewhat of a cross between an OD and a fuzz pedal. I like to think of it as an OD that likes to party with Fuzz but whose parents don’t let it stay out passed 11….. it really wants to get down and dirty but it is just a bit too tame, which I have to say I like in this situation. I have a good amount of fuzz pedals that are very uncontrollable and erratic, which I like when the song calls for it…. but I also like a pedal with grit and dirt that still retains its clarity. I’m also very into the wonderfully tweakable knobs on this hairy beast, especially the voltage knob. Do yourself a favor and check one out for yourself…. especially if you have always been on the fence about jumping in the awesome realm of fuzz pedals!
