The Octave Synth by Seppuku Fx Effect Pedal Demo
Watch in HD for best sound

You all know how much I absolutely love crazy effects. Well, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to demo this pedal for you. I have been G.A.Sing for this one for quite a while. It is an off the wall Octave Fuzz effect….. with a bunch of Synth thrown in and some crazy glitch options. Now, the glitch switch may put some people over the edge, even though it is still extremely musical when engaged…. it just isn’t for the faint of heart effect pedal fan. But, if you simply focus on the octave/fuzz portion, you will be blown away. You basically have an onboard mixer with the Filter and Blend knobs, which allow you to really dial in your octave/fuzz tone. And in my mind, I think it sounds absolutely killer! It’s extremely dirty and crunchy…. almost evil
You just have to think a little more outside the box when using the glitch switch. There are so many possibilities in this pedal. But, this is definitely one that will set you apart from the masses because it is sooooo unique. I can’t wait to get my hands on some more of the Seppuku effects line. Oh and did I mention this thing is only $185 ?!?! I would have gladly paid much more for this bad boy
Again, I know some of you will not find this pedal as fun as I do…. but just remember to keep an open mind
Here is the info from the Seppuku site:
The Octave Synth will transform the sound of your guitar into a fuzzed out monophonic synthesizer, complete with filter and mixing capabilities.
Controls
Blend - Controls the level of octave effect you want to add to your signal.
Filter - Turning to the right will give you loads of bass, turning it to the left will bring in more treble to the mix.
Octave Switch- allows you lower your input signal either one or two octaves with this switch.
Glitch Footswitch - This bypasses an essential component of the circuit resulting in weird and wonderful alien noise.
